Sharvari Wagh Facts
She was born and brought up in Mumbai alongside her sister and younger brother.
Her grandfather Manohar Joshi served as the chief minister of Maharashtra from 1995 to 1999. Besides that, he is also a prominent figure of the “Shiv Sena political party”.
Wagh’s journey in the entertainment began after being crowned the winner of a “Clean and Clear Fresh Face” contest. However, prior to that, she had wanted to build a career in civil engineering.
Initially, she started working as an assistant director. Her work behind the camera was noticed in a number of films including Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Bajirao Mastani, and Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.
Sharvari got her first break in acting with her role as Maya in The Forgotten Army – Azaadi ke liye. She worked along with the likes of various stars including Sunny Kaushal and Tj Bhanu.
In the past, it was announced that Sharvani was all set to be cast in the sequel Bunty Aur Babli 2. The film was scheduled to be released in the year 2020. Also, starring in the film is well-known stars like Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
She had auditioned for the first time in 2014. However, faced a lot of rejection before getting her big break.
In April 2023, she was spending her time learning new dance forms such as kathak and freestyle hip hop. Just before that, she had also learned baking and playing the keyboard.
